A representative of Jordan’s Awqaf ministry attended the distribution ceremony, organized by the Harir Foundation for Supporting Children with Cancer.
The Jordanian orphans also received packages of aid, clothes and other gifts.
They voiced their solidarity with the children of Palestine, especially those in the Gaza Strip who have been facing a relentless Israeli campaign of killing and destruction in recent weeks.
Nahad Dabas, the head of the foundation, voiced concerns about the situation of children in Gaza, stressing its readiness to dispatch aid to them.
More than 15,000 people, most of them women and children, have been killed in Gaza in the Israeli strikes that started on October 7.
